Most drivers don't know what to expect - they just know major transmission repair can be expensive. Many people fear they will be taken advantage of by unscrupulous shops. That's why you need a shop you can trust.

When your car acts up, give us a call or come by. We will check your fluid and test drive your car for free. That will give us an idea of what your problem may be. We also have the latest computer scanners which help pinpoint the problem. Another diagnostic tool is pulling the pan off your transmission. Our certified professionals will examine your pan looking for metal shavings and other foreign material.

Many times the test drive is enough to let us know that your problem is minor. We pledge to do only the work you need to get you back on the road. Often customers come to our shop expecting a big repair bill, and we are able to send them on their way for under $100.

Other times a major problem is indicated. When that happens, you still have service options. We will be glad to discuss your options and help you make the choice that's best for you.

Custom rebuild

The transmission is removed and disassembled for a rebuilder to inspect, clean and replace worn and broken parts. We will then re-install your transmission. You will receive an estimate before any work is done, and the final price varies within that estimate depending on which parts need to be replaced.

Reman transmissions

Remanufactured transmissions are factory-rebuilt units that can usually be installed in two to three days and include up to a three-year guarantee. This is a good option if you're in a hurry for your car and would like a fixed price.*

Factory exchange

If you prefer a warranty from your car's manufacturer, we can order a transmission that has been rebuilt at your manufacturer's facility. When we receive the transmission, we will install and test drive it and then send your removed transmission back to the factory. This option allows you to have a fixed price, and the manufacturer of your car guarantees the transmission. A factory-rebuilt transmission is generally a more expensive option.*
